Romani influenced skirt dance
Session type: Romani influenced skirt dance where the skirt acts as partial prop throughout the dance for expression.

Intermediate/Advanced level,
A wide skirt should be worn to get the most out of this workshop as the skirt also acts as a prop to highlight moves with expressive swishing and wrapping.
A circle skirt/gypsy style skirt would be ideal.

Session type: Choreo workshop, check out video, the workshop is based on

This drum solo workshop will not cover the entire song. The choreo was previously taught to another group and we will cover the exact same part, as it will act as an intro piece for another choreography including other dancers.

Please note that we will work in a dark room for parts of this workshop as we are

There may be wings with flashing lights, so if you are sensitive to flashy lights, low

Session type: If you mastered the bellydance moves, have performed dances you learned in class and are ready to take it to the next level by creating your own solo piece, but you do not know where to begin, then this class is for you to help you with tips to guide you through the process.

Tickets are required for all dancers and spectators
This is a 2 hour event and starts at 2pm and ends at 4pm
Doors open at 1:30pm
Please keep your belongings with you at all times.
Sandy Maya's Dance cannot be held liable for any lost or damaged items.
This ticket gives you access to the show only, it does not include any food or beverages.
The venue has an in-house cafe, where you can get refreshments before and after the event as well as during the break.
Please note that no food is allowed in the theatre itself.
