Thank you all!
This will be the fourth Dance for Clean Oceans event.
This event will be going back to the original Hafla layout focusing on bellydance but allowing other dance-forms to take part as well.
The event is to help raise awareness of the plastic society we have created
and to share information on how we can rectify the damage already done and how to actively make changes in our day to day life.
Take glitter for example,it makes up a huge part of the entertainment industry
and it only takes for people to realise that the fine plastic particles are harmful to our environment
and opt into a non-plastic version of it which many people do not know exists.
There are lots of biodegradable glitters available now, for stage enthusiasts and festival goers.
You can still sparkle, yet be environmentally friendly focused.
It's the small changes by many who create the big change!
One dance step at a time, we try to make people think about those things whilst also continue doing what we love,
entertain and delight our audience with dance!
Come to our show and enjoy a fun night out,
profits of the show will get donated to incredibleoceans.org
to help educate the world about how we can help reduce single use plastics and find sustainable alternatives.

in aid of saving the oceans

This is the third Dance for Clean Oceans event.
It differs a little from the previous 2 events which were entirely Bellydance focused.
We now take a step out into the wider dance world to reach out to even more individuals
to help raise awareness of the plastic society we have created

Performing acts:
Sandy Maya opens the show with a solo performance, followed by an Acroyoga flow with partner Scott Critchley. The Visual Vibez are performing Sandy Maya's I dream of Jeannie choreo and Al Warner performs a fiery piece with her Flamenco group. Natasha and Mim are going to bring some Persian flair to the show with a dance that enchanted Sandy many years ago when she saw them performing. Jadoo's Jungle will bring a American Tribal style in the first part and some sword dancing in the second act to the stage and Elodie will take us to a warmer place by performing a Tahitian dance. The Show-Vibez girls, including Sandy Maya, will perform the cancan which will conclude the first act of the afternoon.
After a short break to get a drink and purchase some goodies at the "Everything Egyptian" zouk the Show-Vibez commence with Cher's Shoop shoop hit from the 80s. Students of the RBSB ( Rachel Bennett School of Bellydance ) are going to brighten up the theatre with a dynamic Gypsy number, followed by a mysterious Balinese dance by Cikka. We'll then have Nazik who perform a fanveil number created by Al Warner. A Jazz dance delivered by Sonia's dance students. A fun bellydance pop number choreographed by Sandy Maya will be performed by the Magical Vibez., we'll have the beautiful Ellen delight us with some Tango fever, The Bellyvibez Beauties are performing the Shaabi piece they've learned in Sandy's workshop just the weekend before the show, Bellyissima will delight us with a veil piece and the Bellyfairies including Sandy will end the show with a featherfan dance.
